 While we were recording our film, the director and I have been researching different sources to create cover art for our film! Similar to how professionals make movie posters promoting their film, we've accumulated a lot of images that inspired our film cover.  We're making more than one cover, and the minimalistic style we've seen in mainstream action movies have inspired our cover art ideas.  For example, we found this image from the series Moon Knight.   This was our main inspiration when forming ideas for our cover art. This style helped us create a main aspect in our film, which drove the plot in the end. We, of course, found ways to incorporate chess pieces into our cover image. I found idea images for our cover art (which I will create during the editing process).  When introducing ourselves to the main plot, with the Queen, King, and Rook as the main focus, we originally looked for image inspiration with these pieces as the main focus. With that, our recording is done! Didn't need to record much today (only had the last scene to complete). Today's scene is honestly my FAVORITE one!! The lighting today was beautiful, and it ties into our story perfectly!!!  This is just to show you all how GORGEOUS the lighting was!! This was a shot I got while toying around with the chess board we needed for this scene. We began aligning clips with our editor so we can trim them down. It amazed me how much we had to adjust while actually filming and afterward. We've cut down so much from our original plan and added things in between that are going to make our film amazing. Majority of the work is going to be done in editing now. I'm going to help the editor in any way I can, and posting updates to the aesthetics we may add to stay aligned with our genre, mystery drama.
